U.S. Prison Industry is taking your jobs!
If you think that the U.S. Government is sending all of your jobs overseas, you're so wrong! We have more than 2 million of our own citizens locked up in prisons in this country. That's more than any other country in the world and many combined. Our Government has this company on the side that they call UNICORE, which is employed by those 2 million plus inmates, that makes everything from the clothes we wear to the equipment that takes us into space. Go to the UNICORE website and check out what all they make. The median pay to these mostly non violent drug offenders is, 38 cents to $2 per hour. The US Prison industry is putting companies out of business everyday, while employing slave labor and then make us tax payers pay the expense to keep them incarcerated at a minimum of $38,000 per year per inmate, if they are in good health. This is all thanks to the mandatory minimum sentencing imposed for any drug related offense, unless your name is Noel Bush, Rush Limbaugh or George Bush. Murderers and rapist can get out of jail completely or after a very short time but a person who has been caught with a pot cigarette, goes in for 10 to life. It doesn't even take being caught with anything! All it takes is a paid informant who is trying to keep their own butt out of jail, to say that they saw you with one, and off you go to the US Government College of Inmates where they have one of our jobs waiting for you at about $1.00 per hour. Try to compete with that and stay in business!
