Taxing Corporations like this won't work
International corporations will just sail under a differnt flag to continue business as usual. If this means closing corporate headquaters in the USA and moving that to India they will do it. Then you not only are tech jobs gone but all the jobs that corporation provided are gone. That's office workers, support staff, janitorial, maintenance, and such.

Being bitter about losing a tech job should mean costing non tech workers thier jobs too.

This is just a phase and the wages will equalize quickly. The poor often talked about in India aren't the population taking jobs from the US. It's the middle and upper class in India that is doing that and don't think for a minute that they won't push for more more more.

It's the happening in China. I know of a immigrant from China, been here 10 years but plans to move back to China because or better employment opportunities. Here they can $30,000 a year while there they can make $90,000 a year in marketing.

Now if person A can make $90,000 US year in China doing marketing why would a tech worker settle for $4000 a year. Thing is they won't and soon it won't be any cheaper doing business in China unless you are running a sweat shop full of uneducated displaced rice farmers. Some how I can see them solving my IT problems.
