Let's try it again
One candidate went to war against a country that had:

-Developed weapons of mass destruction
-Used weapons of mass destruction in a war it started and against its own countrymen
-Invaded other countries without provocation
-Defied multiple UN resolutions reagrding Kuwait/cease fire/sanctions
-Still had some of those weapons banned by the cease fire (some banned weapons including long range missles and nerve agents were found, just not in the expected amounts)
-Harbored terrorists (There was terrorist training camp outside Bagdad with a passenger jet there!)
-Sponsored terrorism (paid thousands to families of Palestinian suicide bombers)
-Plotted the assasination of a former US president (that alone justifies it in my book)

Furthermore he had reason to believe based on intelligence of numerous countries that:

-The WMDs were more numerous
-Iraq was still in pursuit of developing more WMDs
-Iraq was contemplating sponsoring additional terrorist attacks against the US (this came from Vladimir Putin shortly after 9/11)

All in all I'd say the current president made the right choice even if one has some arguments about execution of the post war situation

The other candidate on the other hand:
-Voted against driving Iraq out of Kuwait in 1991
-Voted for regime change when there was a Democrat in the White House (1998, vote was unanimous consent)
-Voted to authorize the President to use force against Iraq
-"Voted for the 87 billion before he voted against it" (and voted against it after he said on national TV that such a no vote would be "irresponsible" even if the amendment he wanted failed)
-Voted to cut intelligence service funding by billions *after* terrorist attacks that occurred during the 1990s, never mind the numerous votes against weapons systems prior to that.
