Is VoIP a good idea for small business?

If you are looking for mobility in conjunction with an IP PBX, I would suggest using an ATA tethered to a traditional 5.8GHz wireless phone. Alternatively, there are several manufacturers offering DECT based wireless phones that work with SIP based IP PBX systems. Aastra and Polycom have DECT based wireless handsets that offer superior battery life, ruggedized build and are a better choice for business use IMO.

Also, Nokia "e" series mobile phones offer SIP support and can be configured to work with many SIP based IP PBX systems.
