rEentrant, here is the problem you don't know about...
Yes, the people in India will allow Americans to come over and "consult" in order to get what they need...more skills on how to dominate in our market. Once they are done, the contract with the consultant will end and they will hire their own. You need to start understanding other cultures. America is one of the only places in the world where we go out of our way to hire people from other cultures. It is NOT the case in foreign countries. Sure, there are a few exceptions here and there, but in general, they do everything to take care of their own. A lesson America needs to learn if we are ever to survive. So many arrogant Americans mock other countries, but think of this...we have only been around a little over 200 years and already things are falling apart. Other countries have been around for thousands of years...why? Because they take care of their own before they worry about the rest of the world. They have pride in their country. Even explotive countries like Russia will still take care of a Russian citizen long before they ever worry about an American. America on the other hand will do anything and everything to help other countries...like give them free education, throw money into their pockets, etc...while our own people become more and more stupid as education costs continue to climb higher and higher. We will feed starving people in foreign countries, but yet we sit back and watch out own people starve. We have no problem sending everything we have to foreign countries, while we continue to dick over our own people by allowing companies to easily move offshore and outsource while still allowing them free reign to do business here.
America is a great country, but it seems we no longer care about AMERICANS and we are driving this country into the ground by doing the things like IBM and so many other companies are doing...and a citizens we just sit back and let it happen...
