- With a cost differential over 5X too great for business to ignore, this will only continue - but not forever. Politicians will not be able to control the eventual collapse of the dollar and much offshoring will then end (afterwhich we may have more serious problems). One has to wonder if we can ever compete with the bottomless supply of workers offshore.
