You knocked that one out of the park

You are exactly right on that one. Ever seen the consultant who copied the book from the client, added some words and then came there to answer questions and sat there for hours because what he wrote was so bad that the client did not even know what to ask and he had a contract that said he would be there to consult if they had questions? The guy was being paid $500/day to sit there and file his nails and drink coffee and schmooze with his buddies on the phone - for 6 months. The CIO didn't have a clue and thought because this schmuck was an expert he knew it all.

First one I had to redesign the whole thing from scratch and I can tell you I was not happy. He had screwed it all up, promised the world and delivered them a big, nice looking package that did nada. When I finally explained to the users what he designed for them they would have strung him up. Had to start from the beginning and ended up averaging 80 hours a week for 6 months to make up for the time lost on the "consultant" doing his POS.
