Geez, did ANY of you actually READ the article?
The whole thrust of the article was, since there will be more EXPERIENCED (which obviously leaves out about 90% of you posters!) workers available for PART-TIME slots, thus making for more 20hr jobs to replace many of the current 40/50 hour ones...

In other words, since the boomers aren't going to be able to survive on what a broken/bankrupt social security system provides, they will be FORCED to continue to 'work from home', albeit on a reduced work-week schedule.

And given the ubiquity of IT in every phase of everyday living now, these more experienced workers will be in more demand than ever. So, in spite of the younger workers offering more 'up-to-date' skillsets, it is the ability to work with the omnipresent legacy infrastructure that the old-timers offer that will rule the day.

This is obvious on the face of it...A true "no-brainer" that apparently is beyond the grasp of you bunch of 'no-brains'.
