Retain experienced workers?
Yeah, right. Companies are seeking to get rid of workers, or at least pigeonhole them - regardless of how good they are.

I do agree the 9-to-5 method is unsustainable, as it leads to traffic congestion and other real problems.

And with the increase of costs in health care and gasoline, never mind offshoring and other practices that are somewhat detrimental to the economy and people not expanding their education in fields deemed dead-ends in America (especially with the relevant costs in education, which are extensive and expensive), how does Gartner predict half of what they do in the first place: Tossing quarters and betting on heads rather than tails?
