DST=Political gain
THe change to DST was not made to save anything. It was another example of special interest,lobbiest and greedy companies paying off politicians with bribes, monetary payments, and perks to pass the stupid idea. The companies will make billions off this little deal and the politicians will make (more) millions for being their lapdogs. Check it out, it wont save any energy or "daylight", it will however contribute to more spending by consumers,more vehicle travel, and more time to go shopping and spend money. So the corporate world makes out like a bandit and the rest of us get zip. Its all about the $$$$$.
