I Live in Mass!
here is the problem with the IT Morons here in massachusetts. First the State employees are morons and if anything fails they call the IT department. When all it takes is a reboot of their system. OR they did something wrong and won't tell the IT dept what they did. or you have the person who thinks they know computers but they still screw up the program or system trying to be a computer bigshot. I've applied for IT jobs with the state you don't even get a email or letter acknowleging that your considered. Tech wise for the state they spend the money they should spend on IT covering their butts with the so called BIG DIG project (or as Mass Residents know it as the Big Pig Project.) So the money they want to spend on a CIO will be better spent on fixing the IT problems.
