This is right in line with the cost cutting measures that many of these execs have put in place. You get what you pay for. They still haven't learned that the right people can improve their bottom line more with their increased compensation than the savings obtained by stripping their workforce will improve their bottom line...and the right people are usually not their friends and relatives.

Also, I think the aging workforce has already hit some of these bozos. Many companies won't even consider anybody they perceive to be over 40. They want someone who will work for them for 20 years although they have been there 1 or 2 years and will jump at the first bump in their compensation.

These execs should take some time looking in a mirror.
