Apparently so ...
'It's like a fancy car with NO
power stearing but instead of even a stearing wheel a pair of sticks left and right to stear the vehicle. You can say that this
car has better power but no one will care cause using that power is to difficult.'

Apparently, the simplicity of having a UMS device that hooks into any computer (including Linux) with no additional software required and copying audio files straight off the hard drive is too complicated for most people. Makes you wonder how USB keychain drives ever saw the light of day, since that's all some audio players are - USB keychain devices that happen to play audio files. To me, *that* is simplicity ... not "You'll need this 40MB beheamoth installed on your computer to copy over audio files." To me, MusicMatch, iTunes, and the rest of their bloated bretheren only serve to get in my way. Basically, the way I copy files onto my iAudio player is doing the following:

1. Hook up the drive and wait a few seconds for it to be recognized by the OS
2. Press a hotkey
3. My file manager instantly pops up two windows - iAudio player's files at the top and all my mp3 files and playlists on the bottom from my computer's hard drive, then I just copy stuff over. Total time to set up - about 10 seconds. (Of course, I use a file manager that doesn't suck, so whadya want.)

I'm sorry, but you just don't get much faster or simpler than that. If I had to wait for iTunes to load, that's at least 30 seconds before I can even start doing anything happy
