Gives me some ideas...
If Gartner says it, it must be true. Therefore, I have announced this morning the following plans:

1. All MCSEs will need to start an MBA program by year's end. The company will not reimburse you for this. The bottom line is, if you administer Active Directory, I expect you to understand the business inside and out.

2. I am taking back the laptops from my MCSEs and giving them a $100 coupon from Dell.com to buy their own laptops. Again, no reimbursement from the company.

3. I want cross-functional teams so all MCSEs will need to become MCSDs and all MCSDs will need to become MCSEs. This gives me and my rep flexibility in how we handle assignments.

My rep and I are going to breakfast to see what else we can come up with. Between the two of us, we are unstoppable.
