Where's the network ?
The one big problem with this whole thing is that in the areas where they are trying to launch/send these laptops into, electricity is a rarity and hence why there's a hand crank to self power the unit. So how would there be 'Network' everywhere available such that the school kids can connect to the 'servers' or 'services' ? I mean, unless they also planned on sending in self-powering Wireless AP's and routers, etc. Where in the world are these ppl going to be able to connect to get something useful ?

Don't get me wrong, it's a great and honorable effort, but the vision and reality still has a lot of gaps that needed to be filled.
