Here's the guy circumventing a protection measure - sticking a pen into a lock to show how easy it is not unlock.
It encourages lock makers to make better locks.

So circumventing crap locks encourages (no forces) lock makers to make better locks, instead of hiding behind lies and using the law to silence the truth about the incompetence of their lock making skills.
