Just like we have come to trust banks to take care of our money, and utilities to supply electricy, and Coke to bottle our cola, we will get used to ISPs supplying out computing power and applications. The next generation of rich web applications is comming. Client server is dead. At least the client server architecture where you have to install the client and keep it updated. Clients will be either a web browser, or as a minimum downloaded on demand automatically

If you are so paranoid, keep your money under a mattress, buy a generator, and buy a machine to bottle you own cola. Maybe you want to design your own car???
