ROFL! Great quote
My favorite quote:

"In other words, the way to beat Linux isn't to compare our server versus your server. "

HAHAHAHA! Because when we compare your server versus our server, your server kind of sucks rocks in comparison. It's expensive, prone to being hacked, down routinely for patches and security upgrades, difficult to scale without incurring potential liability. Not to mention our old time favorites of forced upgrades, CAL's, and closed file formats.

If you're still using Windows you deserve the porking you're going to take. I just love those huffy, snuffy managers who come into a meeting with an OSS chip on their shoulder and demand know that Linux is going to do everything Windows ever did. No, it's not going to. Further more it never will and most of us in the business don't want it to. So there, Mr. Grumpy, now you have justification to stay with Windows. Spend the money, keep taking it up the pooper, keep dealing with the same annoying problems over and over. But don't walk in with a chip on your shoulder or lecture me about Linux has to do before you can take it seriously. You can pound pud for all I care. There are plenty of businesses anxious to switch these days, no need to hand-hold the difficult ones. I'm a consultant not a Linux cheerleader.

It sounds harsh but it's really a time saver. If they're bluffing they'll back down, if they're not then they'll save us all a lot of time and aggravation up front.
