I agree with you on all counts
I have always been asking myself, if a CO makes say 2 to 15,000,000$$ this money has to really be plucked off the true company's profits. Otherwise the entire company is unviable.

What did he contribute to deserve os much comensation? A product or a tech. innovator deserves good compensation so do the peope who work to the best of their skills to materialize a high quality product or service. It is unfathomable to me that someone has the expectiation to get compensated with these exorbitandly high amounts of money.

Add together the compensations of all the high-rank officers and in a reasonably sized company you should rich a number at the 10's or 100's of millions. All this money needs to be earned somehow and in most cases the cost slides to the consumer product prices. So everyone pays
for the exorbitant salaries of these people.

I don't believe that their true contribution deserves this height of compenesation.

This is NOT capitalism where many individuals have one the average the same power to make changes in the market. This is simply an Oligopoly where great degrees of power is concentrated at the hands of very few (and usually uneducated) people.

This amounts of money NEEDS to be invested in more tangible capital assets so that it will generate something in the future for the entire company.

Anyway, this is what happens when a lot of power concentrates at the hands of few people and there is NO or VERY LITTLE accountability .....
