Bleak indeed

It is the collusion of several factors that will lead to the downfall
of the US.
1. The Deficit and the falling value of the $
2. Oil, this is the big one, our economy is completely
dependent upon oil, 500,000 consumer goods are made
directly from oil Oil provides the US with the means for it's great
Agricultural output. Currently the oil producing nations are at
max capacity, the only way to increase capacity is to discover
more oil. There just isn't any left to discover that is feasible to
recover from the earth. It used to be that for every barrel of oil
expended drilling for oil 5 barrels of oil were recovered, now it's
only 2. When it becomes a 1:1 relationship (predicted within the
next 10 years) it will no longer be feasible to drill for oil. The
world is nearing peak oil production, peak oil production is
expected in the next several years, after that production will
slope off rapidly. We currently do not have the technology in
place to convert from an oil economy, so there for inflation will
set in, agricultural output will drop. At some point in time,
some people in the US will simply have to starve. How will the
elite maintain control over the masses then? The old fashioned
way Guns, but with 200 million guns in this country it will drop
into anarchy.
The average American doesn't see this coming, they are
naive. It is sad, for it WILL occur within 10 years. Very sad
indeed.
