In the service industry - no doubt
"Outsourcing IT" is a nice idea, but most businesses in the service industry won't be able to afford it. Cost- and time-wise, with respect to their clients. Being left without customization of your desktops/servers and at the mercy of a 3rd party IT consultant and/or service provider just doesn't work out i.e. for the oil & gas service industry. Ditto!
