Companies without IT. Hummmm
That would mean that people like the CEOs, COOs, who knows, maybe even the CIOs will totally rely on what the consultants are saying. Wow, now there's a dangerous proposition.
There will always be a need for someone to keep an eye on the business end of IT. Someone on the company's side who is able to relate and talk the talk with the consultant. The CIO of present day surely cannot do that.
I know that, no matter what, i will always have a job. You will always need someone to analyse situations, present proposal, install, configure and maintain devices and services. I'll just be doing it for someone else.
