Maybe what you observe is due to yet another event that I
have observed in history. We all know that India and China back
in the day created and invented many things when Europe was
well prmitive (and that is a kind word in this case) and they were
ahead of us europeans/america was not a consideration then) in
just about every concievable way Then things changed.

Now it seems to be that nations and people's go though creative
phases and huge bursts forward only to eventually get tapped
out from some reason. Way back when it was Asia, and the
Middle East where Muslims were teaching Europeans about
medicine and math and science. Now it seems we have been on
top of the heap Europeans and America in general for some time
now if you take Europe as the starting point and follow the flow
into America. However if my theory here is correct it just might
be time for a change over..again. The dangers of isolationisim
and locking out alternative idea's and concepts have for all
practical purposes been eliminated by travel and
communications, entertainment and in general the internet and
using older tech as an example the phone even. No people
today are outside the influence of the rest of the world to some
degree or another (which was one of our major advantages what
with allowing people's from all over to pump new blood and new
ideas into our society) Now the only advantage is my humble
opinion is brain power and that means people. More is better.

So perhaps it is Asia's time to surge forward again? Who knows?
