Lets look at ANOTHER Asian country that most people said would overtake the US with its brainpower - Japan. Japan has millions of people, and a large amount of college grads. They spend lots of money on research, and have the most advanced laboratories in the world. Now, what INVENTION has come out of Japan? I would hazzard a guess and say NOTHING (much)! Japanese people are wizards at making existing things better (That's why Dr. Demming has so much success, and why Toyota and Honda make high quality cars), but are complete dolts when it comes to abstract thought. I would place ALL Asians in this category (yeah its a stereotype) - oh, and Indians ARE Asians in terms of race. I see this personally at work, where Asians are very capable of IT work, but when it comes to new proposals for new directions - it's always Sgt. Shultz (I see nothing, NOTHING!).

At the risk of sounding racist - its seems that the caucasians are the only race capable of such abstract thought. I would also lump Jews and American blacks into that category because of interbreeding with caucasians over the years. I know there are always individuals that don't fit the stereotype, but as countries/civilizations goes - the most successful race of people founded the most successful country. MAN that DOES sound racist . . . PROVE me wrong, PLEASE!
