Renting rather than buying
---I think Napster is approaching the best plan---

I don't. Like most people, I prefer to own my music, rather than renting it. If I spend $15 a month at the iTunes store, then run into a rough month where I don't have $15 to spend on music, I still have lots of music to listen to. With Rhapsody (or Napster To Go), if I don't spend that $15 each and every month, I have zero music to listen to.

And I'm not alone. As a recent BBC article notes:
