The problem with the US patents
Saying the US patent examiners are greedy or not is not the point.
The problem is the whole US patent system that works as a banana republic rubber stamping new patents so that eventual conflicts are solved in court (the European Patent Office should checked as the good example how things should work).
To whom is this system good for? For the patent atourneys, of course.
At a time when the US is worried about loosing jobs to India and China, they should ask themselves if to have millionaire lawyers is really needed as a part of the production chain!

Conclusion: those USPTO examiners that are greedy leave and go working for patent attourneys offices!
