I doubt it, take Apache for instance.
Apache is at almost 70% now and much more secure than IIS. IE has been out for years and the vulnerabilities just keep pouring in. Firefox is newer, open source code that anybody can analyze, and still fewer vulnerabilities.

AND, vulnerabilities are fixed much more quickly. Since Microsoft has probably 1 million (ok 1 billion) times the resources you would think it would be the other way around??? It couldn't be a problem of bloated spagetti code that people are afraid to touch for fear it will break something else or create another vulnerability, could it??? It couldn't that Microsoft refuses to remove dangerous features because that would reduce lock-in, could it???

What was your argument again???
