Some browsers just won't work...
Ye Olde Pismo and Firefox don't get along. I downloaded an earlier version, unstuffed it, and started the "find the icon" game. The Firefox icon kept appearing and disappearing every 1/2 second, which made using the program impossible. So, Pismo cruises under Opera 7.x, Camino, or Safari. IE occupies the system for those Help! programs that use it as an interface. Otherwise, Mr. Bill is left on his island to count his lucre. The 1.25MHz G4 AlBook has no problems with Firefox, so it is one of the "arrows in the quiver" should, say, Safari "develop the vapors" trying opening a web page, and something else "gets an at bat." Besides, "ONE and only one Browser" is Beijing's/Pyongyang's/Havana's way of doing things.
