All hail the Football...lol
Yeah, it seems to be like that in alot of places. Here in Connecticut, at least where I grew up, it was all about HS football. It was terrible. I was fortunate and spared myself the agony by going to a state tech school, which had no football team. I actually was talking to someone who moved into the area a couple years ago, and he said it's still the same way. Granted, I wouldn't be surprised if more focus started shifting to basketball in this area, with UCONN and the basketball hall of fame just over the CT/Mass border, but then its politics as usual.
