Regarding Those Mom/Pop E-Bayers
that's a good point you make. here's something to consider, as well: here in oklahoma you must buy a permit ($20) to pay your sales tax. that could become a significant factor for a small time operator selling to many states. of course, there are also complex rules for how much of the collected sales tax the operator can retain (iirc 2.25% up to $3300). but, with many states having differing rules (is food taxes? what's food in that state?), plus throwing in local sales taxes, this will become very complicated very quickly.
