I can see a use for RFID tags
You purchase aa item in another state. You come home across the state border and the toll booths are ahead. You roll thru the scanners and it records the serial numbers on your product. The machine determines the RFID tag is an out of state purchase. You are required to hand over your Vias to the toll booth collector for a swipe. You have a F****** nice day too. Nothing is going to save California until it retools the insane socialism, the cruel offshoring and the inhuman migrant worker policy.
