They're looking for one programmer, apparently.
But this article uses the ad for the programmer as the springboard for what appears to be speculation about a whole range of significant IBM decisions.

IBM might decide to announce those policies tomorrow. Cheer then, tentatively until they follow through.

The reference to Microsoft was only to point out what skepticism looks like. Seems reasonable to bring the same approach to ZDNet's pseudo-promises on IBM's behalf.
