Senators don't want 1898 tax to hit Net

Income tax was to pay for the world war . . .

which, if I recall correctly, ended quite some time ago - yet we still have an income tax. The corrupt politicians ( yes, I know that is a redundant statement ) in Washington DC will never repeal a tax. Once their hands are in your pockets, they are there to stay. Your only choice is to vote them all out : republican or democrat / senator or representative. It doesn't matter. Always vote out the incumbent until the government is completely churned - then the new ones might ( but probably wont ) realize that they are supposed to represent us.

As they say "The US congress is the best government that money can buy." Lets all work together for change - and we should start by changing everyone who is in congress.

Just my $0.02 ( adjusted for inflation ).
