Advising Comcast of DNS issues
I called comcast for almost 2 weeks straight telling them of DNS issues. All I was told was to change my cable, and they wanted to send a tech to check the signal (which was actually very good) and stated if it was found to be good I would be charged $50 - even though the signal was not the issue at all. They would not send the issue to a supervisor, and would not send it to a tech that dealt with dns. and or course, another outage with both DNS and DHCP today (04/12/05). The download rate is great, but they need to step it up on their backend.
