Parasite
VoIP is as much a parasite as spam. As pointed out in the article, they hitchhike on the back of established broadbands without paying the provider a fee. This takes up bandwidth, and all the rest of us pay for it in our monthly fee whether we want to or not, and pay an indirect price in terms of a slow down in connection speed. I tried Vonage & can't understand why anyone would want to deal with them.
