No you said it was a collective work. That is exactly what it is. Working for the collective and expecting the collective to take care of you is the building blocks of communism. In reality the collective will not reward you and prevents you from making a profit. It also damages competing schemes that are already working. It also will not sustain itself, even if it was the only system around. It cannot adjust to immediate local needs which erode its efficiency. Pretty soon you will have chaos and nothing will get done. Too many chiefs and not enough indians. I help out in a non-profit organization. I have seen it in action.

Hell I waited 4 years for a driver for my system. That is not efficient. That is totally unacceptable. That is why I use windows.

Isn't that wonderful, we get free stuff from a search engine but trade away our privacy or watch a bunch of ads or both. How free is it now hipster?

We cannot charge for our products. This is progress? You are charging for your products. It isn't money though.

I charged $2000 for an editor. How old are you boy? MSDOS edit came in a package for $60. You must have been using a IBM OS/360. Or you were giving Admiral Hopper some open source tips on how to save money for the ENIAC. wink
