You're SCARING me Anton
Dude, I'm amazed how you can know so many factoids about history and yet spout near psychotic tripe at the same time.

"But the issue here is not the normal course of business."

A reduction in prices is not the normal course of business? Wha?..

"It's someone seeing a good idea earning money for its inventor who decides that this should not continue."

THat's an incredibly dumb incorrect way of looking at it. What if you're a programmer and do not like the current offerings of software and want to write your own so it has the features you
re looking for and works the way you want it? You can't possinly think that there are these underhanded devious losers out there who simply can't stand that someone is making money off a product and wish to deliberately derail their entrepreneurial success? Anty..PLEEEEEEZ! That is RETARDED!

"So he writes a free version to remove the monetary value."

But if something can be made free then is SHOULDN'T any longer have monetary value..no??? Should we pay for air and water, and to cross every single bridge in the US?

"I consider this theft of income from the person who had the original idea."

That's arrogant, childish, and STUPID. So a competitor is NEVER allowed to undercut his competition? I'm not permitted to offer something for nothing merely because some stranger (yourself) won't any longer make money off of it? Competitors MUST be FORCED to charge for their products, and they MUST charge them at at least the same rates as their competitors? Anty, do you know ANYTHING about free market economics??? So according to your "logic", Microsoft would have been FORCED to charge the same price for Microsoft Windows as Sun would charge for Solaris???...because otherwise it'd be considered a theft of Sun's income? This would mean that ANY person who came up with something first should automatically have a permanent monopoly lock on that idea/product forever without having to face competition. So only Apple would be able to sell its MP3 player, because allowing others in on the game would be "theft of Apple's income", and Apple should be the only one permitted to sell MP3 players until the end of time, without the hassles of ever dealing with competitiors..
..wow dude..that smog must smell so hemp-like nice in Anty World..
