Tabs were available free for IE while FireFox was still being discussed at Mozilla.

When Bill Gates decided to make IE free that was a business innovation. Netscape was charging for its browser.

But I'm not sure how this is related to my point that inventors, real innovators are entitled to the reward for their work, assuming they want the monetary benefit.
