More trouble than it's worth
Not only can it get users in trouble via corporate proxy logging, but it actually increases bandwidth usage, especially those that do alot of searches, and opens a backdoor for malicious code writers. What happens if somehow the first site listed has a virus or keylogger coded into it? It may never execute, but the fact it is now on your hard drive increases the risks exponentially. No thanks. Since I don't see where to turn off the prefetch feature, it means dropping Firefox, as I'm sure other sites will use it as well. Hopefully Mozilla will in an update, or someone will create an extention for Firefox, a switch that will shutoff the prefetch.
