You are rigth
so with your kind if logic applied we should get everyone in court that makes things that could be used to commit a crime. Like clawhammers (used in many break ins) cars(used as a means of transportation for a number of criminal activities) Compilers and programming tools(used in hacking protected software), OS makers like MS, aplle and others for providing an OS for the computers used in these crimes.

That would be stupid right? So maybe they should focus on the actual thieves?
