That is a conundrum now isn't it?
I will agree that there is far to much control of politicians by PACS and the George Soros of the world. However I must fall back on my right to privacey, freedom of speech and assembly arguments. Those freedoms apply to everyone no matter their financial status.

If I were to put a donation button on my website I would notify the donating public my intentions because of my own integrity. I cannot and will not agree that the government needs to be aware of yours mine or any privately held corporations donations.

Publicly traded corporations are an all together differenet matter. Why? Because of the word "public". The public should be notified where the corporations monies are being spent and to whom they are being donated.

The operative word in my argument is private as in private citizen, privately held business entities, private groups. The governemnt takes too many liberties with our privacies and I am actively against that.
