I don't donate to politicians
People are stupid to donate far more to politicians and their stupid campaigns than to charities and such. I prefer to donate to open source software and amateur filmmakers, artists, and bands that don't seek enslavement by hollywood.

I don't think there should be any laws to say no to collecting donations. People have the right to be stupid. THe only laws should be honest, detailed, accessible, and user-friendly information disclosure about their products, services, belief, activities, and finances.
