Can you say sensorship?
What "crackpot" thought they could silence millions of Internet bloggers. Had this passed, it would have been overturned in the courts anyway. Trying to get this trough under the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act was just "smoke and mirrors" in my opinion. In a country that is "supposed" to be "free"; how can anyone even consider such obvious censorship legislation.

I love this country, but I'm sick and tired of wasted time and money on such obvious mistreatment of constitutional rights. Whether it is "Homeland Security" or something as blatant as this; it just makes me ill.

The fact is they are scared. They cannot control bloggers like they can control mainstream media. Bloggers, at lease credible ones, are interested in truths; not political sound bites and they speak those truths loud and clear. It's getting harder and harder pushing garbage and lies down the public's throat. Now they have to contend with the voice of truth. I know, there are lot of lies and junk as well; but the truth seems to come to the surface eventually (at least it is revealed if you can hear it through the noise). Add to that, more and more voters are getting involved (but we have a long way to go); they fear losing their political positions and status. Note that I did not call it losing their office because it is the ?position? that many seek and the perks that go along with it; not the office or the civic duties and responsibilities associated with the job. Let me say to be clear; I?m sure there are good politicians working hard at doing a good job and I?m not talking about them. I?m talking about the ?weasels? that run for office and win.

Keep your eyes peeled; this is not the end of this. Money talks and I?m sure this will resurface.
