- Hey Squawky..
-
..c'mon, you know the deal by now. This legislation was first brought into being by a Republican, because they believe in small government so they want to reduce your 1st amendment rights. Makes total sense. But being that the reds started it, it will be blindly neurotically defended to death by the Republican mob, whose only concern is if it's Republican or not and not whether the legislation makes any sense or is beneficial to us. I think if Spoon, Carl, or Shadetree EVER took a side different to or opposed to Republican they'd croak on the spot. What is amazing is they call this debate, even though they never waver from their conservative view, which makes it not debating at all really, but dictating. I would gladly take the Republican side on any issue, provided they did it in traditional Republican manner, with a view towards REDUCING government and needless legislation, and keeping a hand on the money. There are NO Republicans doing this today, and so thus they are not really Republicans at all. But what's strange is these guys are still cheering on the GOP while its values and positions have TOTALLY changed. This is why I gave up on the "Republicans", because they are NOT Republicans!
When I tell these guys that I voted for Bush in 2000, they think I'm completely full of it. They think I must be lying because my views tend to be so anti-right. And these are the same guys who are whining that there is no good debating anymore.
"BUT, I believe it is each persons duty to remain informed and engaged."
Not singling you out specifically, Squawk, but do you really think you are informed about 9/11? I'm assuming you think my explanation of it is wrong or off somehow, but what did you use to inform yourself of the government's "conclusion"?
You do know that a) none of the hijackers names were on ANY of the passenger lists of the planes, b) none of the "hijackers" EVER flew a commercial jet before and yet did it with precision on 9/11?, c) the "hijackers" had no experience landing planes and yet one guy (who the flt. instructer said was so bad he wanted to take away his license) was able to get this plane within a few feet of the ground (he essentially "landed" the plane)?, d) a boeing jet with 125 foot wing span made only a 16 foot hole at the Pentagon, leaving NO wing damage, many windows intact surrounding the blast hole, and the whole facade intact? e) immediately after the crash the FBI went around to businesses whose cameras were pointed at the Pentagon and CONFISCATED all the video?, f) no American has ever seen the Pentagon crash in full (or even ten seconds of it) and yet the area surrounding the Pentagon is the most surveilled area in the ENTIRE WORLD!, g) the feds are refusing to release any of this video even after FOIA requests! (pssst..what are they so afraid to show???), h) Larry Silverstein, who owns the WTC complex took out a HUGE insurance policy on the whole complex just six weeks before 9/11?, i) Larry Silverstein has PUBLICLY admitted to demolishing WTC 7 with explosives, and he made close to HALF A BILLION dollars when the building fell (think there might be some motive there?!?!)
YOu're too smart to fall for this obvious crap, Squawky. You're being duped by hyped up unproven nonsense.
