Do you like to way the devaluation of the dollar is not even remotely being addressed?

Devaluation of the dollar means that our dollar has less buying power overseas and would tend to create more demand for domestic products, and increase demand for our products from the over-seas customers, so yes, I see that as a possible good.

Do you really think this country will be financially better off if things are continued to be run this way?

Yes I do, let's see how things look in 3-4 yrs, it already looks better to me now, but then again I'm delusional, remember? If I remember correctly, Bush has a plan to reduce the deficit, let's see what he can do.

I think that a change in our policies towards certain countries that we have trade deficits with would go alot farther towards strengthening our economy than any spending changes. Although I do agree that our government has historically been very wasteful spenders, and that can't all be blamed on Bush. You do remember that there were other presidents and other administrations before him, right? I don't think that all of our problems in this country started in 2000, do you?
