You're mssing it all like usual
"Can you explain where you see any "big taxing legislation"?"

Can you explain how Bush was able to run up the biggest debt in America's history just being in ofdfice less than 3 years??? And why doesn't he care at all? And you hit on the problem: if you spend like a Democrat, then you have to tax like one. Bush is basically spending all the money without taxing to make up for it, which is an obvious recipe for bankruptcy disaster!

"Seems to me that taxes have been cut.."

Yes, for incredibly rich people who don't need the extra money in the least bit.

"The only big government that I've seen has been a rebuilding of the military and intelligence.."

No, the military and "intelligence" have always been there, they're just being restructured in order to sterilize the powers of the various intelligence agencies and give full control over all intelligence to the Pentagon. All state institutions are being federalized (in order to monopolize control over the whole country and usurp state control) and local law enforcement is being militarized in order to prep for the incipient police state and the concentration camps that dissenters will be whisked away to once Bush and company get their verdict against Jose Padilla and are allowed to arrest and detain without evidence innocent Americans..truly a very democratic transparent process.

" I'll give you the addition of homeland security, but.....?"

Thank you. How kind to include that cute little club, considering it is the BIGGEST bureaucracy to date in the federal government!

"We may have to find a cure for headshot wounds and resurrect a "good" republican for pres."

The criteria is very simple: small SPENDING, small government, and small taxes. Period. Anyone that legislates differently is NOT a Republican.
