I was looking at the word "individual"

Maybe I'm wrong, but as individuals we still have all of our free speech rights. I think that the campaign finance reform was aimed at congressmen and their big "soft money" contributors, and not at an individual's free speech rights.

Just from the evidence of the past election, look at all of those commercials on tv and in papers and on the internet, from both sides, and you'll have to agree that it didn't appear that anyones free speech was curbed in the least.

Even though I don't like the campaign finance reform (maybe a misnomer?) laws, they really only seem to at least attempt to separate congressmen from unlimited money supplies under the table, and that will always be a good thing.

Do you see it differently?
