You should have the freedom to not see.
It is a shame they didn't create an ".xxx" domain early on. I mean sex material has such a huge share of internet space.

Me- I wanted to see it all and I have and I rarely look at porn any more. Even then, it's usually a new starlet/model I see somewhere. The rest- I've seen it, it has no real impact any more.

But a person SHOULD be able to get on the internet and NOT see or read about stories naked people, people being beheaded or dying in horrible ways. If they want to remain in a state of innocence the rest of the world shouldn't be doing their d**ndest to force it down their throats.

In the real world, they can do this by forming communities. I know some internet providers do provide a pre-filtering service.

This is what pissed everyone off about the Superbowl. You thought you had a clean show you could share with your kids and some jerks decided to force sex down your throat. Sure you might be the sex fiend from hell while out clubbing or in vegas but you don't want that when you have your 5 year old sitting there with you.

Same thing before I went to FIREFOX. I'd go to a shady web site (say hacking or mp3's) that had nothing to do with porn and I'd get these nasty explicit popups.

You should NOT be able to stop ME from seeing anything or learning anything if I WANT to learn it but you shouldn't be forced to view it or learn it if you do not want to do so.
