Who says you need to put the ad in the song
I say put ads on the require you to acknowledge them as you download content. - similiar to what AtomFilms does. The ads pay for the download. And you get the content without DRM and any ads in it.).

Why are people so insistant that we can't live with ads during DL. We do it for TV and radio, what's the difference. And don't sy it cost us bandwidth - whoop dee do. - you pay for usage (like cable fees and pay channels as well).

People have lived with free content from Radio & TV (just a basic subscription fee here - no different than ISP costs). Courts can and will use this parallel when a case ever hits the supreme court on fair use. Radio when it started out was in no different place than P2P, and as a precident will force the courts to rule similiarly. Which means user suits will be found invalid (fair use- personal use) and the services will pay (ISP taxes, P2P ad revenue, and blank media taxes).

There is nothing from stopping the companies from selling Disc. Justs offer more content & better content than those services provide. It means for the first time the media companies will lose a monopoly and be forced to compete.
