I'm not saying that what they are doing is right or wrong. The wrong is people sohuldn't be downloading music for free, but people are right that when they are trying to download this music that they are trying to see if the music is good enough to want to buy a CD.

The record industry is wrong for not putting music for purchase online and LONG TIME ago. Too much greed got involved with choosing how much to charge that free trading network arises out of their demise.

Now they are trying to correct a 15 year old problem, well guess what, lot's of luck, becuase it's like trying to teach and old dog new tricks. Which is close to impossible.

I personally believe you should be able to download 1 minutes long clips of songs to sample before you buy online or in a store. I don't really believe in people downloading music for free unless you have a VERY serious intent to buy the album or atleast buy the singles online or in a store.

I would be mad at people taking my copyrighted music and making free copies without paying royalties.
